Hello
After working on student films and indie productions and supporting anyone with a camera and an idea, I got the inspiration to begin writing my own projects. Starting with over complicated concepts too expensive to shoot in Los Angeles ultimately led me to Bed Naked Stranger, a story at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and modern dating. After numerous drafts, revisions and edits by writers kind enough to lend a hand, a friend suggested I submit the script to a Los Angeles competition. Get an unbiased appraisal, she said, 'see how it stacks up against the competition', she said. Selection as a finalist gave me the confidence to get out of my head and into reality and after table reads and more revisions I cast, directed and edited the short trailer available below. Now, I'm putting the pieces together to produce a ten episode series . I hope you'll stick with me through this journey.
Our Story
When today’s woman puts her mind to it she can do it. Especially if it’s something she wants, something important like getting off the dating wheel and into something fulfilling. You know maybe a little spiritual, intellectual enough not to become boring and let’s not forget physical. Bed Naked Stranger chronicles the search for a partner through the eyes a technologically driven woman intent on using her very own custom made AI powered search engine to short circuit her search and her best friend a romantic determined to follow her heart to true love. Developed from a finalist award ed script by the writer director into a short pilot the concept is supported by a wide collection of cast and crew dedicated to exploring love in our time. We are seeking $25,000 to cover essential production costs like shooting locations, professional cinematography, cast and crew and post-production, allowing us to produce an incisive look at our society through the eternal search for true love.
